In our minds, autumn earns the sole right to blanket the streets with crisp leaves, leaving summer as a season of steady, vibrant green. Today, however, the sidewalk revealed a different story. A scatter of green and pale yellow leaves framed the base of a sturdy city tree, completely changing the familiar pavement. It was a fascinating discovery that certain trees reset their canopies even in the warmth of July. Pausing amidst the foot traffic, I felt a deep appreciation for these unwritten rules of nature, where every season carries its own quietly beautiful surprises.
